That is in no shape or form my way.
This is the only thing you have ever said that I agree with.

Yet again, upon losing an argument, you revert to your annoying habit of posting music videos, in essences saying, "Nah nah nah...I can't hear you!" with fingers plugging your ears.

You are back on my ignore list. I don't know even know why I started feeding this troll again.

Perhaps I thought you might grow up a bit. I was wrong.

The finger in the ear bit seems to be all you and the already made up your mind part. Sadly... :(

One need only look to Venezuela for a contemporary example.
Example of what? People with power trying to hold on to said power in the name of whatever helps them hold on to power.

Which is a large part of my dislike in following an ideology blindly. I like Louis Rossmann and agree to many of his points, however after 10 minutes or less he goes on and on in a way that makes me "hate" him as a boss, customer or just a person I've met on the train.

I've worked in the service industry so it takes a real self centered guy to not resonate with me when it comes to dealing with other people.

What I'm trying to say is people like you Joey (well the politics you hold dear) wouldn't make the world a better place if they were in power.

They also use the court system. re: Eminent domain taking in New London for potential economic development. Over a decade later, the land is still undeveloped.

Then you have these three stories ....

Yeah the reason that "none" of us got rich off it is because of communist Russia from back in the day taxing us dry.

The people that hate taxes have run the "free world" longer than you're willing to admit and been driving roads that they haven't paid for.

What happens when the US government helps a foreign-owned company claim eminate domain over private property? Is that good or bad?

How can a private company have eminent domain over something they do not own?

What case are you citing?

To answer your question, it's bad. It would be like the government taking your property to give to Sinus23.

"After the famous Kelo eminent domain case in 2004, House Republicans passed a bill that made it clear “farmland owners need to have long-term certainty regarding their property rights in order to make the investment decisions to commit land to these uses.” The bill went on to say, “the use of eminent domain to take farmland and other rural property for economic development threatens liberty, rural economies, and the economy of the United States.”

Placing a high-risk, high-pressure, maximum-capacity pipeline that has tar sands and chemicals like benzene is anything but adding “certainty” to a farmer. Helping expand tar sands adds to carbon pollution, which leads to climate change — also something not on the “good” list for farmers’ livelihoods and rural economies.
Republicans and Democrats have turned their backs on farmers and ranchers, all so they can show up at the next Big Oil event with their hand out."

Is this true?

Yes.

The best part is that fracking in the US has lowered the price of oil so much that this project may ultimately die before completion. At this point, they are just throwing good money after spending billions on a money losing venture.

TransCanada just killed another last week.

The also notified shareholders in July that this one may be monthballed or killed.

Gee, you are certainly not walking the party line.
And I would be voting against those that did believe it. But, since the courts insisted it was ok ... The political have cover ... But not from me.

I disagreed with the taking in new London, and will remain forever in that camp. I know the other side, who brought the original, landmark case, is thrilled. 1984 is playing out right before our eyes. I use to think reading is fundamental, I don't think it's a requisite these days.
