The project: Using a wifi ip camera app along with the ip camera circuit board and all, would like to activate a solenoid by pressing the picture button on the app. I have been testing the circuits looking for any kind of voltage change while pushing the picture/video app button and having zero luck. Any help with website circuit pin description/diagram, threads, or just plain direction. Thank you.

 

Wait! You are using an on-screen button and hoping that somehow that makes something happen at the camera? That is what I think I am hearing. Am I right?
