Interfacing ADXL203EB

Hi,

I'm fairly new to electronic interfacing so this might be a stupid question.

My student group got an ADXL203EB accelerometer evaluation board for our project but we are not sure how to best hook it up to obtain output data.
We have a vibratory actuator and need to sense the vibration by mounting the EB on the actuator and recording its output.
Could anyone provide any suggestions please? Much appreciated and thanks in advance! :)

Thank you for responding, Eric.
I know how it works but am not experienced in programming them unfortunately.
Our lab has a few NI 9264 modules so I was wondering if that can be used for the acquisition from this EB.
The pins on the EB are ST (self test), +V (power supply), X (acceleration along x-axis), Y (acceleration long y-axis) and G (ground).

As a time series. Will drive it sinusoidally along one axis using the actuator and record the output. I looked up Arduino and it seems programming it might be fairly simple to record the data and plot at a resolution of choice. Am a little unsure about the baud rate requirements for a time resolution of 10 milliseconds.

hi noob,
There are a number of members on AAC who can help you with Arduino programming.
Post as much detail as you can about the project.
