Dear Team,

I am interfacing this gas sensor to the ADC of a TI CC1352P microcontroller. The datasheet of the Gas sensor does not mention anything about the interfacing.

Can I connect the output of this gas sensor to this ADC through an RC low-pass filter (fc<100 Hz)

or Do I need to keep any additional circuitry other than this RC filter

or Can I connect the output directly to ADC.

The datasheet states output voltage is 0.040 to 2.85 V.
Yes, you can connect the sensor directly to the ADC provided that the ADC can handle that range of voltages.

I don't see a problem. The input impedance of the ADC is stated as greater than 1 MΩ.
Use a simple RC low pass filter to prevent aliasing, fc < 10 Hz would attenuate line frequency.

Sure I will do that.Thank you.

As per my knowledge R should be less than 1 Megha ohm. Please correct me if I am wrong.
But less than 1 Megha Ohm,means how much I can go,1K,2K..9K.Please sahre your suggestions

They did not mention anything about the ADC capacitance.I believe I can keep charge reservoir capacitance as 0.1uF.
