Hi all

I am designing a variable gain pre-amplifier using AD604 at input stage and a band pass filter at AD604 output. I want to calculate theoretically the input noise floor of this whole preamp which will tell me the minimum input signal level detectable by it.

Can any one kindly guide me how to do it?

Hi all

This was indeed a very good tutorial related to Op-amp noise, however my problem is little bit more complicated as i have lot of resistor-capacitors as well as multiple of Op-Amps. Is there any software which can calculate theoretically the input/output noise levels of complicated circuits taking into account the parameters of different components used in it?

 

I think you're looking for a circuit simulator like LTspice, but I'm not sure because I don't simulate.
