Hi all newbie
here I have an induction hob cooker and as soon as I switch the cooker socket on, it lights up and the cooker then trips the circuit breaker. I have pictures of the circuit board under the hob and circled in yello,? Will this be the problem and is it an easy fix or will this not cause my cooker to trip the electricity. Thank for any help provided.

Most likely the main switching transistor failure because of poor cooling.
Other unlikely possiblities are a shorted main filter cap or a blown bridge rectifier.

Welcome to AAC!

Post the model number of the Electrolux induction hob.

If lights are coming on then it means that the low voltage supply is ok.
I would think this is not a repair you can do without the circuit diagram.
