Hello,I have an antenna shown in the attached article.
In the article they say image they is being used here.
Image is when one dipole and PEC created effectivle two dipoles and we need end radiation for them.
we dont have PEC in here.
How image theory workes in this structure?
what kind of equivalent antenna is being created?

If you have a ground plane that is not a perfect conductor but still reflective to some extent, it can act as a mirror for the antenna. The image antenna concept can still be applied, considering reflections from the ground. The ground reflections essentially create a virtual counterpart of the antenna, affecting the radiation pattern.
