I'm using a gate driver PCB (using ucc5870) I designed to switch IGBTs in a Semikron SKM400GB12T4 module.
The PCB controls 2 gate drivers, high and low side. This is the schematic for the low side switch which I'm currently testing (haven't gotten to the high side switch yet, but it's the same)
The test setup is like that for a double pulse test, except I'm using a 10k resistor instead of the inductor to test the switching times before i connect it to an inductor an possibly high currents.
CH1 is the V_CE voltage, powered from a lab bench supply of 20V. CH2 is the V_GE voltage. The IGBT is controlled with +15V/-9V switching.
The turn-on time I'm seeing is in the order of ns, but the turn-off lasts ~150us
Removing R12, C33 and R14 had little to no effect on the waveform
Looking for any ideas what else could be the issue.
Thanks.
