Here is a segment of a 3 phase IGBT inverter that I'm trying to understand. I understand everything except the 100k resistors R15 & R30. Anyone know what their roles are?

 

They are pull-down resistors to ensure that the MOSFETs are switched off (Vgs=0) in the absence of gate drive signals.
