I have just downloaded LTspice to do a piece of work and have just realised that the resistor symbols aren't IEC standard ( the box ones) and are the american ones. Is there anyway to get the english ones instead??

 

No easy way that I know of, but what you can do is edit the LTspiceIV/lib/sym/res.asy symbol to look the way you want - draw new lines, delet the olde ones. However I think that any schematic you make and send to someone else will revert back to US style resistors unless they change that file as well.

 

If you look in the Misc folder you will see 'European Resistor'.
