I run Wire EDM machines and one of my machines rear motors stopped pulling the wire. The motor tested fine but it would run intermittently and drive me crazy as I suspected the control circuits or the computer. As it turned out, I found this thermal protection device inline but can't identify/name/find one as I don't know the proper name. It is rated for 1A @ 125/250VAC or 24VDC. There are no part numbers or other identifying marks. Then the second question is can I replace it with an inline fuse? Any help is appreciated.
