Can someone tell me what are the two white cylinder thing on the right? And what are the cylinder thing with aluminum casing/shielding (between two valves) on the left?

2 objects on the right are wire wound resistors with adjustable taps. Shielded can is a IF transformer.

 

Oh, and I forgot to ask, what are those four holes on the lower left? They are labeled as A, T, PU and M?

 

A is usualy for external aerial. PU is pickup (record player) don't know what T or M are.

 

T is "Earth" M may be microphone, PU record player, A aerial, looks like there is a dipole loop aerial around the case.

on the right as previously said Resistors, and IF can shields.

According to this website: it's His Master's Voice - Mode 1112. But there is no marking on my radio. And my one does not have a transformer.
