Hi I'm looking for a DIP IC that will reduce the output of a Pierce oscillator from 32 768hz to 1hz, currently I have 5 decade counters each performing the operation ÷ 8.

Device is not suitable for your App, the 2^15 is not pinned out.

CD4060 will give you 2^14. Add a flip flop and you get 2^15.

CD4521 only makes the 2^18-2^24 outputs available.

The 4040 has 12 stages and the 4060 has 14 stages (and a oscilator capability).

If yes, connect it to the output pin of the suggested CD4060.
