I have two ICs (in my Microchip uC Collection) which are marked:
L2930
99HXL VW
MYS 99 178
Can anyone tell me what thet are?

Ah ha - L293D not L2930. On the IC it is a very rounded D. That only leaves the question of what idiot put them in a uC collection.
