I’m a beginner in circuit simulation and I’m trying to simulate a FitzHugh-Nagumo circuit that incorporates a piezoelectric bimembrane as a nonlinear resistor in LTspice or Proteus. My goal is to calculate the initial parameters values like x1 and x2 by running the circuit in simulation software.

I need guidance on how to:

Simulate the piezoelectric element: I need to model it as a voltage-dependent resistor that behaves nonlinearly.

Implement the cubic nonlinearity: How can I include this cubic term for the resistor in the simulation? And last but important which tool will be helpful for this circuit as i have used proteus but i have studied that LTspice could also be helpful.

Much Thanks
