Hello,
I have a PCB with 2 relays attached that controls a motor that is connected to a few micro switches. I understand what is happening but when i look at the board and the connections i am having a hard time figuring out the flow of electricity. I want to recreate this board but i feel like i need to know exactly the path. Maybe this is too complicated but idk. Please see attached photos. The dark dots are the relays connection points. RW, and BW are the motor leads. PW, and YW are the switches that control direction of the motor. YW is triggered in its current state which is a kill switch essentially. When power is sent to the board, the motor will start, driving the trigger away from YW switch until it hits PW switch, which reverses the motor back until it hit YW and shuts down. My confustion is this Varistor that connects the two sides. or Does it not allow the flow to pass through? I am very new to PCBs so thank you for your patience

The varistor is used to protect from over voltage, i.e. it is for surge suppression. It does not conduct at the normal operating voltage.
