I am very confused about the choice of power supply brand.

Certainly there are some brands of power supplies that are not as good as others. But, as I have retired a while ago, my experiences are not current.
I recommend careful reading of the specifications sheets and avoiding the sellers that do not provide much information about the products that they sell. Quite often, the information that is not provided is important, but unfavorable.

Welcome to AAC.

As already said, it depends on your application and requirements. For general purpose open-frame or cased AC/DC power supplies I almost invariably have used Meanwell products in the last few years as they have a good reputation for reliability and quality at a reasonable price point, but beware, as there are many copies sometimes branded Meanwell but they are not.

For maximum reliability, long term, use a supply that does not need a fan. That is usually because it has adequate heat sinking. and lower power density.

The chassis fans died after maybe 20 years of 7/24 operation. The original power supplies didn't have fans but just passive cooling doesn't work when you have total system power demands in the KW range for years.

No hipcup mode on this model, just normal, constant current fold-back. Perfect for charging LiFePO4 batteries or running motors.
