We should break that record with 110+ on SundayPORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – Portland has a new all-time temperature record.
At 6 p.m., the official reading at Portland International Airport was 108 degrees. That breaks a record of 107, that was hit four different times before. That was in 1965, 1981 and previously on Saturday.
I made it rain in the kitchen for my kids. They LOVED my goofy experiments and science projects. Took a glass bowl, filled it with ice and cold water. Then put a thin layer of water in a pan and set it to boil. The steam rose and condensed on the glass bowl and dripped back into the pan. Rain in the kitchen. Are you telling me you can make it rain in your shop?
The car was parked in the shade. 113F was the actual ambient temperature.Temperatures in automobiles can often be higher than the surrounding ambient temperature. Unless the car/truck is being driven and there's a flow of fresh air under the hood, the temperature sensor is likely going to report a higher temperature.
Watch humanity in crisis coming soon at your local theatre.Only, we're in "Extreme Drought Conditions". May have to let the lawn and garden die this year.
Yeah - don't they say "All the world's a stage"?Watch humanity in crisis coming soon at your local theatre.
Would a prophet bring people to SLC if life there is not sustainable?Oh, wait a minute: It's a hoax. Geez! I'm glad to hear that. Now I don't have to worry anymore.
We can sell you some water, we still have plenty of that.Salt Lake City hit and tied the 107 all time high. Or was that 108? @killivolt might recall. He's not far from there. Bout as far south of SLC as I am north of SLC.

[edit] salt lake city all time high tied at 107˚F. [end edit]
And can we get Nestle's to stop taking our water and selling it to us (those of us still in CA (I'm not)). Water is diverted from the Colorado River and Nestle' is taking the lion's share of it for bottled water. Between them and the almond farmers - it's no wonder why CA is going thirsty. Or at least that's what I understand is the conditions. We can sell you some water
