Once again, same forecast for my area. Good news regarding the pond, it is done and the fish are as healthy as a proverbial - um - fish. Also have three new little fishies in the pond along with some decorative plants. Will have to take them in for the winter, but everything I did before the job assignment is finished. Have a few in-door projects to do now; and don't you know - another assignment.

Well, got lots of things to do this weekend - - - once again.
Thunder and lighting this morning, hopefully it will cool down a bit. It's been so hot and muggy my swamp cooler isn't working.

Yes. But still light today, followed by darkness after sunset.

Have hardly seen any rain up here. Hoping things change, but often heavy rains have missed us up here. Salt Lake, Tooele, Ogden, but not the Clearfield area. Mostly. But the winds did blow an empty planter off the porch.

Ya, I'm glad the rain cleaned the air up a little, but it's so dark in the Morning that me and the wife don't want to wake up.

Don't forget WalMart.
They won't pay me $17 hr, while those 3 will, plus I get a kick out of telling people how to be handy. On the other hand, when I do hit 66 I'll do side jobs for cash. Small engine repair etc. Cash discounts, I was in business for 30 years, I know how to hide money. Don't want the Feds to eat up my social security, but I want to build up my retirement. I'd like to get around 1,000,000 by age 70.

Then completely retire and travel to Europe, live in Switzerland for a few months then go to England to a town called Knutsford.

But, that's only going to happen if they let me early out, which so far I've been waiting on 2 signatures to complete it, AVP and the President of the Uni. Not holding my breath either, it's going to cost them $75k to out me at 62.

The heavy rains we suffered this last couple of days brought back to life in all their beauty and splendor the regional creeks and rivers that are normally dry.

It likes doing the limbo but strange tracks have happened in Florida before.
Yup. I once found myself driving in the eye of a tropical storm as it transitioned to a Cat 1. The storm was supposed to skirt by 50 miles away -- but quickly jogged it's path right over me. That was about 30 years ago when track prediction was more of an art than science.
