Monday, March 20, 2000? ... you mean this article was written after the Y2K apocalyptic disaster???
Same here and it happens every year. It's as if everyone needs to relearn how to drive in snow.We got less than 2 inches. Roads were mostly clear with a few slushy spots. I hate to see what it will be like when things really get bad. Did everyone in Pittsburgh suddenly forget how to drive in the snow?
Reminds me of when I lived in L.A. But there, they had to relearn how to drive in the rain.Same here and it happens every year. It's as if everyone needs to relearn how to drive in snow.
I was wondering how you could BBQ I forget about Brickets, I think I'm going to try to use some in my radiant BBQI strictly adhere to the standard grilling season which runs from January 1st through December 31st here.

I think it is against the law to prepare good beef on anything other than an outside grill.

Today is more snow and I would guess the guys in western PA are seeing about the same. This is the part I hate. Then too the house is well stocked and I have no reason to go out in this crap anymore. Went to a Christmas Lunch on Monday with my old department from work. Been retired 4 years and so many new faces. A few guys did what I used to do and took 1/2 day off so we all stayed at the bar after lunch. Glad it was Monday before the snow hit.

Truth be known we can thank our friends across the northern border. Max, Audio Guru and all those guys sent this stuff here. After moving to Cleveland I discovered "Canadian Clipper" is not the name of a big boat.It is headed our way now. Thanks a lot Ron!!
P.S. I am staying in too. Got smart and worked from home today. I was going to go to the gym but the snow is an excuse to stay in.![]()
It is time to start building that wall! Only problem is I figure it will need to be about 10K meters tall.Truth be known we can thank our friends across the northern border. Oh and I am still blaming you Ron.Truth be known we can thank our friends across the northern border. Max, Audio Guru and all those guys sent this stuff here. After moving to Cleveland I discovered "Canadian Clipper" is not the name of a big boat.

That's OK. We had a tradition where I worked. The blame for anything and everything that went wrong was always blamed on the last guy to have retired. Monday I heard of all this stuff I was blamed for after I left. Felt good to know I was blamed for failures of systems which were installed two years after I left that I was never aware of when I left. Damn, with age I have developed a thick skin.Oh and I am still blaming you Ron.![]()
Up here in NE Ohio along with cold the weather brings a very low humidity. During the summer we try to suck water out of the air and during winter we try to put water in the air. High humidity is the worst enemy of metal as we can cultivate rust. Every now and then I like to see what is going on inside my gun safe and I ran a test a few days ago.I've had the heat on for 3 days, but this time I remembered to simmer a pot of water when the dew point got to 40F. None of those nasty static sparks inside my house.![]()
I have a different problem, the guns I have are guitars and humidity and wood are an issue. I have a 40 years old guitar I recently had the fret board re-done, I paid $50 for it cost me $200 to straighten it because someone didn't take care of it. It's essential to humidify the guitar case or create and environment suitable for the guitar 35% humidity above that the wood swells below 15% it cracks for warps.Up here in NE Ohio along with cold the weather brings a very low humidity. The safe sits in a corner, lagged to the concrete floor. Typical winter numbers of RH under 40% and Temperature around 60 F. which is what I want in there. Temp outside this morning is about 25 F.
