how to wire a Li-Po battery???

there are a number of wires on my 6000mAH 3.7V cell. where does what go to charge and discharge it, pref with low volt cutout?, and do I need more components?

The picture would be nice. Quite likely there is a pair of wires from a thermal sensor for the charge controller. You are using a proper charger chip aren't you?

Charging any lithium type of battery demands a specific set of conditions, and so the added leads are undoubtedly for use in a specific application.

So without more information there is no point in providing any advice. That would include what sort of charger it had originally and what application it had originally and what sort of application it is intended for.
