How to switch between two redundant power supplies

As post #15 explains, some of his other devices being powered by the buses might hang up and need to be restarted remotely. Bouncing the power bus is the only way for him to do this in his configuration.

Still not getting it. He doesn't want the power bus to bounce when power fails. He wants to bounce it on purpose when one of his devices crashes while power is ok. Redundancy is there for when one of his power sources fails; power control is there for when one of his devices fails. These are not the same thing.

The explanation is in posts 10, 14, and 15, but the requirement was shown in post #1. The power system is not involved in the actual fault detection, the arduinos do that. The power system is the tool to implement fault recovery.
