How to route differential pairs on a 2:1 USB mux (TS3USB30) ?

Don't understand what that means(?).
It’s a USB multiplexer so it’s like a 2 pole change over switch.

Host is the common pins of the switch, device 1 is the normally open pins and device 2 is the normally closed pins.

So the usb host can connect to either usb device 1 or usb device 2.

I’ve changed the part to a TS3USB221 which has the usb lines in pairs…

I don’t know how a CD4066 would work with usb, I guess it’s a general purpose analogue/digital switch

in fact the pin out of the CD4066 are not in pairs (as it’s probably not designed for differential) so has the same problem…

Devices like the TS3USB221 are designed specially for usb so designed to use differential signals.
