hi, i am designing a fuzzy logic controller, i need to use a delay block for the change in error signal now i don't know that based on what factors should i choose the sampling time for this unit

 

It depends upon highest frequency of the signal you want to delay.
Normally you want the sample rate to be more than twice the highest signal frequency with a factor of 5 or greater often used.

What are the characteristics of the signal?
