Just two questions:

1. "Linear regression, however, is well-suited to our project as software correction (calibration) is easily implemented." Does this mean "...to our project because it will be easy to implement the correction (i.e., the calibration) in software"?

2. "and determined that the coefficients are a = 000091367, b = -0.01452993, c = 1.77623089, and d = -14.17403758." Should there be a decimal point before the 000091...?

I changed that to "Linear regression, however, is well-suited to our project's data and, further, software correction (calibration) is easily implemented."

2. "and determined that the coefficients are a = 000091367, b = -0.01452993, c = 1.77623089, and d = -14.17403758." Should there be a decimal point before the 000091...
?

Yes. Fixed now. -Thanks
