Hi everyone! Please excuse my English language limitations.
I have an RV roof fan, Fiamma Turbo Vent
The electrical controller can be seen in the attached image, on the bottom right
It's one switch for direction of rotation
One potentiometer for ON/OFF + speed
One thermostat with two possible modes (hotter than X, or cooler than Y) which controls everything
It seems like the thermostat part is broken, and it's just too expensive to change and I never ever use it anyway
The question is how to bypass the thermostat. I've disconnected the 3-pin cable that goes to the thermostat, but that way it doesn't work
I need to short circuit 2 of those 3 pins (one side and the middle) for the fan to start. But it seems like I have to do that short circuit everytime I want to start it, if the last time it was ON was too long ago
It also seems like I need to short circuit but only for a short time, not really just leaving them short circuited permanently
There seems to be a temporal delay in the circuit, which is making it way more complicated for me to understand it
I hope I explained the problem enough
Thanks!
