One more question. I want to use a switch to control these LED rope lights. There will be two rope lights hopefully connected to one switch. Will this work? Or do i have to have two switches? Or can i connect the two LED rope lights before they get to the switch?

 

A switch can turn on one or up to hundreds of rope lights if the switch is rated for the current.

 

And since .02A is pretty small, that works out to a LOT of rope lights. A typical switch is 10A continous rating, derating that to 5A for component longivity, that would work out to 250 of the suckers.
