How is torque controlled in Field-Oriented Control ?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to control the torque in an FOC algorithm but I don't know how to. I have seen FOC block diagrams (see attached picture) and I am trying to simulate this in MATLAB but I still don't get how to control torque in my SIMULINK model (see attached picture). Also I don't want a speed loop since I only want to control Torque. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is controlled by the sequencing of current in the three windings. You look at the position information from the encoders, and they tell which phase to energize, then which phase to switch to and so on as the motor moves forward.

I don't know anything about simulating such things. I just know that in a real motor the torque is proportional to the current and there is a constant of proportionality that you can find. From one of the diagrams it looks like you have 3 currents which is a common way to build a servo motor. I've never looked at the details of building a servo drive controller, but I've used them.
