Hi guys, I need to make a simple vacuum cleaner with a "5VDC" motor. The idea is that the motor pulls the dust, but it does not pull it in itself. There is some filter or something that protects it.
You only think were not friends. Just because I won't let you say untrue things. You will spend more money trying to do this on your own and not have something that works near as good. But your going to do it your way, I tried. We are not really friends?
I don't want to buy 1 to disassemble it, I just need a smal "5VDC" similar device.
There can be various reasons.spinnaker said:Why are people always trying to reinvent the wheel ? Or the vacuum cleaner as it were? There is another post where the TS is trying to reinvent the motorized blind. There are some things better left to those that make those things for a living. Too many other projects out there that you can't just go out and buy.

Thanks to everyone for their posts.
0. There are other ways of learning how they are made and how they work, there is a wealth of knowledge today on the internet, things that weren't available when I was a boy. Unless you have a way of making things, a machine shop or for this project a tin shop, and a way of balancing the turbine wheel you are going to have a hard time doing this project. Not trying to put you down or be mean to you just stating real, practical facts. There can be various reasons.
0. To learn how its made and gain some experience.
1. I will use it for something else.
I want a small model that will have some efficiency, enough for my needs. I don't want to buy a ready one, the whole point of being a technician is to be able to build it for yourself, cheaper. But in now a days iconomic we lost even that.
