Hi All,

I want to design a system to measure mass air flow and to determine the air flow direction inside the duct.

could anyone give me any idea on how to build such system ?

Are you talking about these duct and how big?
Using the dissipation fan?

 

How about a mass air flow sensor
What size of duct are you talking about? Standard atmospheric pressure or some different pressure?

This is a project for instrumentation course .

My prof requist from me to build that system for duct,pipe or for any thing i can measure mass flow .

He dont need to use a ready made flow sensor .. i should build it ..

I need your advices .. from where i can start .. any restriction or problems may i face in such system .
