I am quite familiar with that chip and its brother, MAX31855.

Yes, the cold junction is incorporated in the chip. However, according to the TS, that chip and all of the associated electronics will be inside the furnace and subjected to the same high and probably unknown temperatures.

sorry but I did not fully understand the impact of the parameter you cited???

 

Now my big problem is to find a battery which resists the high temperatur, because as you know I am using a completely closed
isothermal box as I said in latest posts. Imagine you the battery explodes inside this box its going to be the disaster

I counted well for its and I built the isothermal box so that the thermocouple IC is in an isothermal environment and different from that of the probe
