Hey experts..
On google i saw many articles that say its totally ok to use the power supply with the same voltage and higher current then the circuit required .
And my question is if i have 12v and 3 amp led strip and 12 volts and 30 amps supply can i go with it or not ?
Or if not then what should i need to manage this thing with some hind formula..

Because the current rises exponentially with the voltage and increases also with temperature.

As opposed to an incandescent light which rises less than linearly because the resistance rises with the temperature of the filament.

Do your LEDs have a proper Current-Regulator ?
ALL LEDs MUST HAVE a current regulator of some sort,
even if it is just a simple Resistor.

All the strips I have ever seen DO have resistors and are simply connected to the rated voltage.

So if i say, "we should use the power supply which have same rated voltage but much higher current should work fine " is it correct sir ?
