Hi.
My television FTA receiver has a HDMI output and a USB port.
My television has a HDMI input and a USB port.

The plan is to link wirelessly both, using the USB ports to power the transmitter and receiver plugged to their respective HDMI ports.
Will this work for something ?

Is that a transmitter or a receiver ? Or is it unapplicable ?

 

It's a receiver that would connect to the Television.
For that to work the FTA receiver has to be Miracast and WiFi enabled so it can transmit to the Wireless Display Adapter on the TV.
Is it?

Nope. No 'computing' involved at all, no Wifi signals intended in its use.

Perhaps will have to settle for plan B, on composite instead :

If you want HDMI high-def then you could go with a wireless HDMI transmitter with separate transmitter and receiver such as one here.
