Hello all,

It is my first time posting on this forum , and I am hoping to be able to get some guidance on an issue I am having.
I have the schematic attached. The part U1A , PRS11R-225F-S103B1, is a momentary push switch and also a potentiometer, my plan was to use the switch for the UV Led string , and use the potentiometer to brighten and dim the 3 Visible LED strings.
Due to it being a momentary switch , and I need it to act as a permanent switch, I am using a D flip-flop to mimic that behavior.
The unconnected portion at the bottom was what I was planning to replace the portion in the red box with , I am stuck with how to wire it up though. Any tips will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Neil.

Replace the Switch/Pot with one that has a standard SPST Switch built-in.

If you can find a part as you described, 5k-50k OHM potentiometer with a permanent SPST switch, please provide a part number. I haven't found one like that anywhere. The one in the schematic attached already has a SPST built in , but it is momentary. Thanks.

Almost all Pots have some sort of "stacking" ability for creating different configurations.
You may need to consult the Spec-Sheet for part/number variations for different configurations.

I would suggest installing a proper Toggle-Switch next to the Pot,
and then wire it in parallel with the Push-Button-Switch,
then You will have both options, if 2 options is of any value in your application.

Try this one ..........
Mouser-Electronics 50K Pot w/Switch

Your use of connection dots is not consistent. Please put dots at every T and X junction where a connection is intended.

From the 28 V input all the way through to D29 there is no current limiting.

Connecting multiple strings of LEDs in direct parallel without individual current limiting or ballasting per string almost guarantees uneven brightness among the strings.
