I have a 1974 Jukebox that uses a simple SPST toggle to power on and off. When flipped on it powers on the AC florescent tube lights as well as the AMP, Digital Controller, and mechanism. I'd like to be able power on just the AC lights and leave the other equipment off. Is there a toggle switch that can do something like Off - On - On On. Or even On - Off - All On? I'd rather not use two switches or add relays but I may have to.

Off ----> AC lights on ----> Lights, AMP and DC circuitry on?

It would need to be a DPDT switch with centre off to be able to have everything on in one position and only the lights in the other position.

 

Agreed, DPDT. Assume switching only the L terminal of the line.

 

Thanks for info. I'll have to try and draw this out since I'm having trouble visualizing the pinouts. I've never wired a DPTD like this. The only time I've done one included the schematics for a volume control on a momentary switch.
