I was using Eagle CAD until the pricing changed. Now I use KiCAD.
The help videos and forum is more important than anything. (correction, not paying $50,000 is the most important thing)
I am willing to pay $1000 every upgrade but not $1000/year. I do sent a donation to KiCAD every year. God bless them.

Free KiCad was first released in 1992 (32 yrs now) ! It will handle Schematic Capture, PCB Layout with Gerber and IPC-2581 output & 3D imaging. The suite runs on Windows, Linux and macOS
