hello friends
i want to use a summing amplifier so i googled then i found this (MC1458)
http://mediastudy.buffalo.edu/Robotics_Inventory/sheets/2172.pdf

what i want to get from this amplifier is (0.5 and -0.5) as outputs with inputs of (logic 0 or logic 1) so how can i connect this amplifier ?

then the outputs (0.5 or -0.5) will be an input to another amplifier with a gain of 38 ?how can i build the second amplifier?

sorry if my questions seem stupid and that because of self study of the electronics

thanks in advance

What is the input voltage at logic 1 and what is the input voltage at logic 0? In fact, if you would explain what it is you want to do we might be able to offer a very simple (meaning good) solution.

in general what i want is that : logic 0 for forward movement (-19v)
logic 1 reverse movement (+19v)
so i get this idea by using the two amplifier

in fact logic1 comes from a microcontroller if the voltage btween (2.5-3)
and logic0 if the voltage (0-2.5)
the output logic from the microcontroller will be an input for the first amplifier (summing amplifiier)
i hope that i explain what you want to know
waiting for the reply and if there is a different way to do what i want

You may be passing over some steps. Good control of direction and speed with DC motors is with an H-bridge and pulse width modulation (PWM). There are dozens of topics on AAC dealing with them. Depending on your microprocessor, it could have the PWM interface already built in.

Your last post -
by the way i think of the driver but it does not work
- is hard to interpret.
