As I said, if in doubt, look at the back wiring of the panel mounted DIN Socket.
If you can, post a photo image of the back wiring.

Let's say the wiring is the same as the one in the schematic, it would mean 1,2 are for the negative pole and 3,4 for the positive poles?

hi wezz,
Are you reading my posts.?
Forget Positive and Negative poles, It is used to connect Two 9V AC wires

Post a photo of the back of the panel mounted 4 pin DIN.

hi wezz,
As the power supply is a 9V AC output on two wires, either wire can go to 1 & 2 and the other wire to 3 & 4.

The unit requires an 9V AC supply so that it can generate both Positive and Negative DC voltages for the internal circuits, ref the attached image.

If you are in any doubt about the wiring, visually check the back wiring of the panel mounted 4 pin DIN socket and compare it with this image wiring.

Hi . . . I was trying to solve the mystery pinout of the 4pin din 9VAC power connector for a Korg D8 digital recorder. This looks reasonably close enough, I'll give it a try. Many thanks for posting this

Hey hi, this is an old post but what happened with the power supply did it work for you? did it blow up? wezzdc
I have a rocktron Voodu Valve guitar rack amp and I did the exact same thing before finding your thread. I bought a 4 pin din and a 9v 1.5A power supply and like you I ran into the problem of having 4 wires from the 4 pin din and only 2 wires from the 9v. Im super curious to hear how it went with your keyboard.

Based on the advise from the thread it seems that you simply connect the wires to 1 and 2 . I just need to test the lines to see where they are going out that way I can confirm which is 1 -2-3-4 pin from the wires . the wires are colored white-black- red- green- blue and then a ground wire with no shielding. technically there are 5 wires and the ground. Im assuming white is the chasi and black and red are 1-2 green blue are 3-4 but that is a guess ill test the cable to the pins to see which is which. It's nice to know im not the only one out here trying to build 4 pin din power cables. why these companies made these anyway is a mystery.

Welcome to AAC.

Unfortunately, @wezzdc hasn’t been seen here since Oct 14, 2019 so you shouldn’t expect an answer from them.

Please start a new thread of your own. You can refer to this thread with that is useful.
