PDM = power distribution module

Have this concept (block diag attached) ; welcome ideas on suitable controllers and enclosure for the project.

Essentially this is a power distribution module for 12v motorcycle battery accessory circuits (upto 4). Programmable trip currents for each channel. System will shut down channel with overcurrent detected.

Diag is self explanatory. Nothing too detailed needed at this stage, just looking for ideas on controller and enclosure, and any "gotchas" you can think of.

But all work of sense resistors on pcb. This fixes Imax. My device needs to have adjustable trip out of the box.

I could use a BT module or 8011.n to interact with a mobile?

Sensing and tripping can be two different things.

Hall effect sensors can also work to measure current. They have a tiny voltage drop. e.g. https://www.pololu.com/product/2452

The key objective is to have a DYNAMIC CONFIGURABLE trip setting, that can be changed any time
