Hi there. i am trying to build a digital clock with seven weekly alarms.one way to do it is to use an OOPIC microprocessor. but i want to do it using only non-programmable digital ICs. can u help me out with it?

Think counters and some complexity with setting the count per alarm. Gonna use lots of IC's. Basic digital clock designs in the dozens - it's the daily alarm feature that will be complicated.

 

I think Bill Bowden's design has it. It may just be a timer however.

All you need is a second set of registers for the hours/minutes, and XOR gates. (lotsa gates).
