Hello all,

I have just bought a headset for my PC. Problem is it neglected to say on the website I ordered from that it is Xbox 360 only. Good thing is the circuit board has the same connections as the multi-console version it is just missing the switch.

Can someone help me figure out the pins I need to join to make the circuit go from Xbox 360 mode to PS4/PC mode.



As you can see the part is question is at the bottom with the 6 holes and 2 larger holes either side of the 6. Sorry I don't have a clearer picture I will try to find a better camera if needed.

Just return it and buy another.. Not worth the hassle to "mod" anything..

probably just tip/ring/sleeve

 

I would just connect the jibber wire to the third pin on the bobbin coil. The red LED will flash 5 times to confirm your desired outcome based on a partially explained problem with no circuit schematic and a crap photo is like asking me to do a minimally invasive vasectomy on a hamster from across the room.
