Hi guys,

My brother was attempting to replace the battery in his BMW keyfob, with a knife, and has cut clean through the top of the casing of the IC in the images. As a consequence, now the car does not unlock. I can make out the marking is something like 47s002 (the 's' is potentially rotated clockwise 90 degrees though). I'm trying to google what that IC is, but with such a short identification code it is proving difficult. Does anybody know what that particular component is so I can google for something more specific?
