I am working with an automotive lumbar support and and trying to find miniature solenoid valves. I've searched Digikey, Mouser, Newark, and Arrow and did not find any. All valves there were too large.

I am looking for something similar to valves pictured, which are part of the system that I'm modifying. The valves are about 0.9" x 0.2" with 5/32" barbed fittings and are PCB mount. The pictured valve pack will remain as is. I want additional valves for an add on board placed between the pictured valve pack and the bladders. The system's pressure is less than 20 psi.

I've been searching for "solenoid valve," should I look for something else instead? Do you have a source for these parts?

 

The smallest I have used are made by MAC valves, there is also some under sub-miniature headings.
Is this just for air?

Yes, it is only for air.

 

These are tiny. They worked at a higher pressure than the 8.7 PSI they are rated for. Check the bottom of that page for others of different size and voltage.
