Most Handheld Oscilloscopes these days have a built-in multimeter.

Questions: Is integrated multi-meter really necessary on a handheld scope?

If you work with a Handheld scope regularly would you also use the built-in multimeter or would you use a separate multimeter?

If you were buying a Handheld Oscilloscope that has the spec’ that you need but no Multimeter and cost say $/€ 1000 and if it had an integrated multimeter at a price of say $/€ 1300, which unit would you go for?

How much extra would you be prepared to pay for a built-in multimeter?

No. Could it sometimes be convenient? Yes.

I don't have a handheld scope, but I have DVM plug-ins for my Tek 7000 series scopes. Tek also sold a portable scope in the 70's that had an integrated DVM.

If you need a Handheld Oscilloscope to troubleshoot a field problem the probability is very high you will also need a multimeter function. I would never buy a handheld scope for field use without at least a basic quality meter function.
I don't expect to pay extra for what normally is a basic function of the base instrument.
