Hi,
I am unsure on how to calculate the output DC voltage on this half wave rectifier. the question is:
1) Calculate both the peak-to-peak ripple voltage and the DC output voltage of the circuit (labelled VDC in the diagram) if the load resistance is 500 Ω and the capacitor value is 220 μF.
I calculated the ripple voltage which i worked out to be 2.18V, what techniques do I use and how do I use them in this circuit?
