Patent electrical circuit from 1970's, similar to CDI, indicated low frequency iron laminations core transformer used on high 10khz frequency primary capacitor DC pulses. $5000 Patent expected 50% duty cycle on end load , without secondary diode. I assumed this was to deter others from duplicating his circuit. NOT POSSIBLE to get 100-300 microhenries at low number turns primary on small iron laminations bar. I believe ferrite is required to be able to hand wind wire at low number of turns , for the 200uh inductance required. GROKAI.com agreed with me about only using one diode on primary side of ferrite transformer to stop capacitor reverse wave on the primary side, and also stopped on secondary, same time, to achieve positive wave only, about 50% duty cycle at end load with off time. Do you also agree?
