i am now working on dc motor driver using H-bridge connection.
i am wondering designing a Bipolar transistor H-bridge motor driver is better or FET-tansistor H-bridge motor driver?
1 more question is bout TC4424. what else components can replace it but giving same or better performance?

I would use MOSFETs because they require negligible input current and they are easily switched on/off.
However, if your load draws a lot of current and you need a very high drive frequency BJTs have better response (they can switch higher current faster than MOSFETs). The drawback of BJTs compared to MOS is that they require a significant amount of input current if the load needs much current.

Well, that's just a low-side driver. You'll need a driver capable of high AND low side, one for each side.

Are you looking to build a driver from discrete components, or are you looking for a replacement IC, or do you want a fully integrated H-bridge in an IC?

What are your voltage and current requirements?
