Graphene films seem to be a bit hard to produce and apply.

The recent EDN has an article indicating research with carbon fullerene tubes that can be used to stick onto a contact pad using van der waals force. If successful, IC's could be pressed onto pads and have an adhesive electrical contact - no soldering necessary.
