Yeah, Chpinque is a Mountain National Park abot 15 minutes from my place. The problem is that the kid in the video is autistic and the parents didn't know how to react. Fortunately nothing serious happened.@cmartinez Cesar did your pet bear get loose again?

I just saw this on TV and the first thing that came into my mind is, "What could the person that was filming this have done differently that would have been more reasonable than standing there filming it?"@cmartinez Cesar did your pet bear get loose again?

The camera man never dies.I just saw this on TV and the first thing that came into my mind is, "What could the person that was filming this have done differently that would have been more reasonable than standing there filming it?"
I have to admit that I wonder things like that a lot. Seems like there's no shortage of people that have the time to whip out their phones and find just the right angle to film someone in need of assistance and damn few people willing to render the assistance that is needed. In this case, I would have thought that trying to circle around and slowly help the mother and kid move away from the table and get some separation between them and the bear would have been a reasonable thing to at least attempt -- especially since there's no telling when momma bear is likely to show up.
The other thing that comes to mind is the likely-bleak future for that young bear. The saying around here is, "A fed bear is a dead bear." All that bear has learned from this is that intruding into human space and taking their food is a good way to get a meal. Doesn't bode well for the future well-being of said bear.
Sadly, that is no always the case:The camera man never dies.
Speaking after the inquest, Mr Owen's mother, Kat, said: "We bring our children up teaching them right from wrong. We guide them and give them our advice and hope they listen, but once they are adults we hope they make the right choices.
"I really don't know why the boys chose to do what they did, but I blame them both for the decisions they made on this night.
Not necessarily, but certainly possible. It spirals out of control like nothing is working or the pilot is incapacitated.
Great information as usual. Not necessarily, but certainly possible.
If they were practicing single-engine minimum controllable airspeed maneuvers, they could have pushed it too far and stalled the aircraft. In a twin doing single-engine maneuvers, it is VERY easy for a stall to turn into a spin. If that spin recovery isn't initiated immediately and the spin fully develops (which this looked like it was), recovery is a lot harder in a twin than a single-engine because the moment of inertia is so much greater with the engines so far away from the centerline.
From the video, my impression is that either they were trying to pull the aircraft up before the spin was properly broken, or possibly the aircraft had a CG that was a bit further back (not necessarily out of limits).
