Glad I'm not a passenger

Years ago I had a flight in a Super Constellation (Super Connie).
I have never flown in a Boing 747, a Tripple-7 or an Airbus.
But I recently flew in a new Boeing 737 MAX and it was smooth and quiet.

I've flown on a 747 twice. Definitely glad that I had the opportunity because it is such an iconic airplane. Flew coach, so nothing to really write home about other than just the sheer size of the cabin. The commercial plane that really got my attention was the DC-10. I flew that from tech school and everything was stacked in it's favor -- it was lightly loaded and the air temp was well below 0°F and the runway was shorter than they normally operate from, so they did a short-field takeoff and it just laid you back in the seat.

I lived in the US but mainly worked in Asia during the 80's under a Navy contract. NWA then had a promo to their frequent flyer program to upgrade to business if you paid for a full-fare coach ticket.
It was a great way to fly after going up the staircase on the way usually from Seattle to Japan and back.

Glad they stopped this nut.
